When in the Quezon City, a fun place to chill and unwind is Karaoke Republic. It is located along the Timog Avenue, an area that doesn't sleep.
Karaoke Republic is a three-storey family KTV and restaurant with 21 private karaoke rooms. It as a lot of promos and packages so be sure to check it on their facebook fan page so you can avail yourself some savings. The place is also Wi-Fi equipped.
Upon entry, be sure to approach the friendly receptionist who will aside you at a room if you don't have any reservations yet. Since they change their rates depending on the promo, do you can check the board for the it. During our visit, it was 80 php/head/hour. That rate is non-consumable which means exclusive of food prices.
As we were being ushered to our room, we passed by the lobby that has a Karaoke TV too. Though it was dark, I could see the people happily enjoying themselves.
We also passed by a smaller room perhaps for a smaller crowd. It had leatherette couches, a long wooden table, a song choice monitor and an LCD TV.
Here is how each floor looked like. All with wooden room and a small glass window. It was a late Saturday night and the place was jam-packed. Filipinos are known to be talented and lively so its no surprise that Republic Karaoke is filled with fun-loving families and group of friends.
The LCD Screen is large and bright. It is visible from all ends of the room. Upon settling down, my companions did not hesitate to showcase their voices. They were quickly found their preferred songs and got the Karaoke party start quick.
We finally reached the third level and were led to our room. It is noticeably bigger than the room I saw on the first level. I guess that is why it is called the "Songpreme Court". =D It has couches on all sides. It could hold around 25 persons so its really a party room.
Of course, there is no party without food and drinks. Republic Karaoke offers a while range of food and drink choices at an incredibly affordable price. The food proportions are good for sharing. Here's the Menu: Appetizers | More | Drinks |
Overall, we Travel Tripsters recommend that you visit Karaoke Republic to unwind, sing and be merry. It's a fun recreation for everyone and its quite affordable too.
