After our Ugong Rock Adventure and quick stop at Karst Mountain Elephant Cave, Floral Travel and Tours arranged our lunch buffet at Gusto Grill which was very delicious!
We booked and paid Floral Travel and Tours, two months prior our trip for 1,240 php/head. Their service included our pick up from our hotel, taking us to Ugong Rock Adventures and Karst Mountain Elephant Cave as well us our lunch buffet at Gusto Grill. Thus, we were spared from the hassle of obtaining a permit.
While waiting for our bought number to be called, I spotted the old Australian couple and had a chat with them. I found out that they were headed off for El Nido after their Underground River to meet their sons and daughters. Our Spaniard tour mates where headed for El Nido the next day too. I think we can deduce that a lot of tourists only pass by the Underground River and go for El Nido.
Our tour is already inclusive of the boat ride. But if your doing DIY style, note that the minimum number of person per boat is 5 and the maximum is 8. The rates are: 6 people - 700 php, 7 people - 800 php and 8 people - 900 php. We were only four on the tour and four on the boat though.
Our boat number was called and we got on board. We wore the compulsory life vests.

It was a short and windy boat ride to an island. It had a scenic view.
When we arrived, we immediately saw the Underground River sign.
We followed the way path.
Here are the park rates in case you're doing DIY.
There are lots of informational boards and maps.
Be careful with your snacks and sparkling things because it attracts the monkeys.
We also spotted a monitor lizard.
While waiting for our both number, we just took our time with this scenic view. Our companions felt like swimming but there's a big sign "No Swimming".
We were provided helmets and life vests and boarded when our boat number was called. Again, we were only four passengers with two guides.
Our Spaniard companions were given the task of pointing the flash light. While the tour guide shares some jokes and information about the rock formations.
There are bat pees and poops so I'd avoid opening your mouth. =p
You can use your imagination to appreciate the formations.
Once we reached the part with a cross mark, we headed back.
We Travel Tripsters had a fun and memorable experience. It's more of a scenic view rather than an adventure though.
